Holiday Season Recap: Part II,Crafty Wonderland

Ben and I enjoyed our time in Portland last month!

Before setting up for Crafty Wonderland, we visited Amelia, a fab shop on Alberta street that carries some Knuckle Kiss pieces.

And while we were in the area, we enjoyed some epic, belt-busting, biscuity, gravy'd towers of heart-stopping delight (see right) at Pine State Biscuits.

After setting up our booth, we visited with friends who took us to Bollywood Theater, which serves small plates of Indian street food. It was so delicious I forgot to snap the obligatory food pic.

When we weren't sating our Portland food cravings, we were over at Crafty Wonderland. I'm so happy we had the opportunity to take part! It's a beast of a show and the organizers do a fantastic job putting it together and coordinating the 200+ vendors. Big props to the Crafty Wonderland crew.

So many cool customers and supporters of handmade and indie design! So many covetable wares from amazing vendors!

We treated ourselves to a few things, which I'm sharing pics of below because they are awesome and I think you'd like them.

Set up on Friday evening. The show took place in a huge hall the Oregon Convention Center.

Mid set up....See that Urban Cheese craft booth?
I have a cheese-making sample from them that I need to try.

I bought some sturdy poles for my dip-dyed drapes. I have my mind on dying another backdrop for summer
because I am a crazy person with a Rit-Dye obsession (ask me about my wedding decor).
Some of my favorite new pieces (L to R):
Crushed Pyrite Ring, Tekton Ring, Crushed Pyrite Studs, Soft Spike Double Ring

Horizon Rings

All of the Santa Clauses came to visit.

A well-deserved gin & tonic

This drawing made by one of the kid vendors is my favorite purchase.

Detail of a gem & crystal print by Scout & Whistle

Leather and Pendelton wool bags by Appetite
The sisters who create Appetite graciously accepted a jewelry trade for these bags.
So cool (the bags and the sisters)!

And that's it for now, ya'll! Thanks for reading.

Cheers,
Angela
